our 6-acre site in Maldon we hold extensive stocks of sawn Temperate
Hardwoods and Clear Softwoods from North America and Europe, Tropical
Hardwoods from Africa, the Far East and South America. Our customers
range from small joiners and shopfitters, to the largest manufacturers
of furniture and joinery.
We have a department dedicated to the sale of Machined Hardwoods
and floors - be it imported or specially machined to customers'
own requirements. The vast range of floors and doors can be seen
in our showroom.
Brooks Bros can supply any quantity whether it be large or small;
random stock or selected to our customers' cutting specifications.
With ISO 9001 - 2000 Quality Assurance Certification and a bespoke
computerised systems incorporating accounts, purchasing and sales,

At our 12-acre site in Danbury we hold a comprehensive
range of joinery and structural timbers together with MDF mouldings
and sheet materials. This enables us to supply the building industry,
joinery manufacturers, picture framers and the pine furniture trade.
Joinery Softwoods
Upper Gulf Swedish and Finnish Redwoods are stocked in a range of
grades - unsorted, sideboards, saw-falling fifths and sixths. Special
industrial timber, centre-free and furniture grades are also stocked,
often to specific low moisture contents.
Facilities
Brooks Bros has one of the largest and most modern purpose-built
moulding mills to be found in the UK today. On site we have an overall
kiln-drying capacity of 1300m³. This impressive scale of operations
ensures that we can meet the customers' precise requirements with
regard to quality and delivery.

in 2003. Fitchett's is a long established sawn hardwood importer
offering sawmilling, moulding, flooring [visit our showroom] and
sheet material stocks, with an established reputation for quality.
The company operates state-of-the-art machinery and was recently
one of the first UK timber manufacturers to install the fully computerised
Weinig Unimat 3000 moulder and innovative PowerLock tooling system.
